New NYC executive to be elected

The Anguilla National Youth Council will be electing a new executive committee at its  General Assembly Meeting, scheduled for  March 15 at the Teachers’ Resource Centre.
Council officials are calling on all registered groups to make a special effort o attend the meeting.  The registered groups are also being encouraged to submit nominations for elections before Friday, March 12.
The positions to be voted for are president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, assistant secretary treasurer and public relations officer.  The new executive will serve for two years.
The Ministry of Social Development, Department of Youth and Culture and the Anguilla National Youth Council’s election committeee are appealing to all organisations to register in order to qualify to vote.
Kasseem Forde currently heads the National Youth Council.
The meeting starts at 6.30 p.m.
