AIR CONDITIONING & REFRIGERATION  TECHNICIAN

To work in Tortola, BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS

* Applicant must be advance in their ability to trouble shoot and repair domestic and commercial Air conditioning and Refrigeration. (Faulty defrost timers, Electrical and wiring faults, searching out leaks, Compressor/ Fan motors trouble shooting, repairs and replacements.)

* Pleases note that applicant must be a strong trouble shooter, able to work unassisted! Individual must be experienced in electrical applications and general refrigerant properties. Applicant must be able to communicate and write technical information comfortably.

* Proper handling of R-22, 134a, 404a refrigerant a must (410 is a plus). Knowledge of gas recovery (a plus).

* Working with flare fittings, acetylene silver brazing and working with turbo torch a must.

* Reading and working knowledge electrical wiring a must.

* Ability to remove faulty compressors and fan motors and properly re-install components unassisted is a must.

* Ability to install High wall-mini split A/C units a must. * Please note applicant must be able to completely install, wire and commission up to a 3 ton high wall mini split, and window type unit A/C unit unassisted if necessary.

* Valid drivers license a must!  (Applicant must be able to properly handle a standard transmission vehicle, and have been driving for at least 2 years. Applicant must be willing and able to pass the BVI required written test).

* Working knowledge of “central air” type installations (a plus)

* Working knowledge of “ chill water systems” (a plus)

* Knowledge of fiberglass and/or sheet metal duct work fabrication (a plus).

SALES REPRESENTATIVE (part-time or full-time)

Basic responsibilities:
- Selling monthly sales targets
- Selling advertising space on our website/s
- Maintaining contact with clients and ensuring their needs and concerns are met
- Managing advertising accounts
- Some basic banking

Salary
Part-time position is commission-based only. Staff position comes with a basic salary and commission from ad sales.
